Project3 : Final model & Drawings

Section 01 - 1: 100
Section 02 - 1:100
Second Floor Plan - Gallery and Courtyard
First Floor Plan - Apartment and Gallery
Ground Floor Plan - Shop, Office, Stock room and Gallery

This gallery is designed for Damien Hirst to represent his concept of "death" and "Spot Painting"
It's mainly focused on his idea that "If you said something interesting, that might be a title for a work of art and I'd write it down. Art comes from everywhere. It's your response to your surroundings.", so i tried to design it with open space to represent his openness. Only space to be designed as a defined room is top floor gallery where sculptures capturing "death" are exhibited.
View from first floor window/Ramps - to connect each gallery

Two Ramps are intersected - to show connections between Hirst's idea
Structural wall around gallery -represents his spot paintings

Overall view of gallery to show its position on site 3
